Invitation to participate in the first Civics Exam!
What does it mean to be civic-minded and how can I contribute to state defense and well-being right now? These are questions often asked in the current context of geopolitical challenges, so the Ministry of National Defense (MoND), together with the Mobilization and Civil Resistance Department at MoND, is organizing for the first time a Civics Exam for the general public!
On May 14th, Civil Resistance Day, we invite all members of your municipality and city or district community to take the time to test their knowledge about civic-mindedness, state defense, mobilization, and other important topics. The exam will be held online on the website www.PilietiskumoEgzaminas.lt.
What's important to know?
The exam will take place on May 14th from 8 am to 6 pm Lithuania time. Registration is already open on the website PilietiskumoEgzaminas.lt. The exam will consist of 30-40 closed and one open-ended question. The preliminary time for completing the exam is up to 40 minutes. Participants will be divided into six categories according to registrations: students (9-12 grades), students, NGOs, business representatives, representatives of the global Lithuanian community, and the general public - curious citizens category. The questions will be the same for all participants. Correct answers after the Civics Exam will be available on the mentioned website, and registered participants will receive them by email. The best-performing individuals in each participant category will receive individual prizes - smartwatches, and the four organizations with the most participants - a school, university, NGO, and business organization - will receive team prizes. Winners will be announced within 3 days, and the awards ceremony will take place on May 29th in Vilnius. More information can be found in the exam rules. Want to prepare?
