In Tauragė, there are preserved graves of the First World War victims, with a monument standing. Nearby, 64 Russian and 121 German soldiers are buried. The area was renovated in 1988, and in 1991, a cross and an informational plaque in Lithuanian and German languages were installed in the cemetery.
